How to add Automatic configuration Script for Internet Access in Windows

Some companies want to control internal computers’ Internet access. If any internal computer is not configured to use Automatic Configuration Script, it can not access the Internet

Steps to Add Automatic Configuration Script

1. You need to obtain automatic configuration script location either from your network administrator or from a working computer (see steps below)
2. Open Internet Explorer, and click T00ls -> Internet Option and click on “LAN settings”. Select “Use Automatic Configuration Script” and enter script’s address
3. Internet Explorer modified registry item AutoConfigURL as shown. If you do not have Internet Explorer, you can modify “My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\AutoConficURL” manually.
