Problem
Craftsman Garage Opener equipped with a light. The light turns on when garage door opens or closes. However, after its original incandescent light burned out, a new compact fluorescent light (CFL) did not come on during operation.
Solution
Putting an incandescent light solved the problem. Apparently, Craftsman garage opener does not support compact fluorescent light at least up to 2010 model.
