Problem
Windows 7 Professional 64 does not support some older software such as QuickBook 2006 and Adobe Professional 7. To install them, I need Windows XP mode.
Solution
You need to have Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate or Enterprise to install Windows XP mode. If you have other versions of Windows 7, please see post How to Upgrade Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional for steps to upgrade your Windows 7 version.
You install Windows XP mode, you need to go to Microsoft’s Virtual PC download page. Select your operation system and language. Follow the on screen instructions. First download Windows XP mode. Then download Windows VirtualPC. Check Windows XP Mode Update last. Windows requires several restarts in between. After that, your computer is ready to run Windows XP mode.
